Still a huge overall loss, but slowly and steadily, I will recover ….
Concluding Thoughts
June has been a relatively good month with more than S$3k coming in as a sideline income through options and shares trading.
My goal is to achieve a consistent monthly sideline income of about $2k ~ $3k, with the following criteria:
- Without taking on too much risk or leverage
- With a relatively smaller capital (less than S$100k) => 2 ~ 3% monthly return
- Without spending too much time every night monitoring the market
- Without too much stress dealing with the market’s volatility
This goal is more important to me than recovering what I have lost in the stock market because it allows me to have a consistent monthly sideline income that can supplement my main source of income from my day job and to be a good backup or potential semi-retirement income source. I am still trying to hit my target while meeting the criteria that I have set.
