You will need then be directed to download the app from app store. Once download, you proceed to set up your account and wait for approval (usually takes less than a day).
Once your account has been approved, you can proceed to fund any amount (even $1). It usually takes less than one day to approve. For me, I only top up $10.
So, this is how the welcome rewards work:
If you fund any amount, say $1, you will get 3 free (fractional) shares that is worth USD10 to USD100 from these 4 biggest companies in the world (Tesla, Apple, Microsoft, Alphabet).
The value of each share allocated is chosen randomly based on odds, so if you are lucky, you can get a maximum of USD300 for meeting the first requirement (of funding any amount). Otherwise, you get a minimum of USD30 for the 3 shares that you own.
If you can hold the deposit for more than 30 days (which is not too long IMO), you get another 2 free (fractional) shares from the 4 companies listed above. Again, you may win up to USD200 if you are lucky this time round.
With the free shares, you can choose to sell them on the market for cash or keep them for long term investments. If you should decide to sell your shares and take your money, you can withdraw from the platform back to your bank account.
This is akin to the free gifts that comes with credit card signup promotion, where you either get cash rebate or free luggage when you sign up new credit cards with the various banks.
What Is Good About WeBull If You Decide To Stay On After 30 Days?

I am quite looking forward to using this feature as economic data that can influence the market, e.g. CPI, PPI, PPE, Unemployment, is usually released one hour before market opens. So by the time the market opens, the share prices would have already priced in the news.
Also, companies usually announce their earnings after the market closes and this can also move the share price drastically when the earnings data are released.
Take for example, Meta share price soared by 19% during after-hours trade and closed at above 23% the following day. So, you have bought during the after-hours trade at its highest share price, you could still be in the green the following day when it closes above 23%.

I currently use a separate app (investing.com) to monitor the stock prices and I have to always close some app before using the app. Now, I can use the same mobile app to monitor the stock prices and do not need a separate app to monitor the share prices.

Concluding Thoughts
Whether you wish to stay on the platform for the long term or not, I feel that this is a pretty good deal as many brokerages would require you to deposit at least USD100 before you qualify for the welcome gifts.
