The trading returns from May 2025 has been pretty decent at slightly over USD2k. I have also reallocated some capital from my SSB funds into a brand new investment and trading portfolio and I have shared the reasons in this below article.
Revealing My New USD45k Portfolio (Investing + Trading)
In this article, I want to share the trades that went well this month, and may it be useful to you for your own trades and investments.
Options Trading (+USD1,410)
This is a summary of trades that I closed in May 25
The 2 options strategies that I use this month are Selling PUT options and Buying CALL options. With the new capital, I was able to sell Cash Secured PUT (CSP) instead of Selling PUT on margins, like what I did previously. I used a combination of Selling OTM PUT (SOP) and Selling ITM LEAPS PUT trading strategies and taking profits when there is a sharp rise in share prices to eventually make USD658.
The other method was more straight forward in buying CALL options, some of which are long-term LEAPS CALL options. As share prices continue to rebound, I made a profit of USD752. This is taking into account the 2 failed 0dte trades at the start of the month,

This is a summary of shares that I have traded in May 25.
My more profitable trades come from Meta, Robinhood and Amazon as the share price has run up quite well in the past month. That allowed me to make a profit of more than USD400 despite having only 5 to 12 shares for each stock.
Update On Overall Loss
As of 31st May 2025, I am down S$507k in terms of options trading losses and have an overall net loss of S$237.6k worth of losses from 13 years of investing and trading.
