SSB Update (115k/200k Completed) | Target S$500 Monthly Passive Income

As part of my portfolio rebuilding plan, I intend to max out my Singapore Savings Bond (SSB) investment to S$200k, so here is an update on the progress of reaching this goal.

I applied S$35k of SSB in March 25 for April25 SSB and the full amount was assigned. Thus, I have S$115k of SSB in my account currently and have achieved 57.5% of my target.

For my April 25 SSB, the payout will be on April and October for the next 10 years. The payout for all my existing SSB plans is as follow:

My passive income investing plan for SSB is to have around $500 (red line) coming in every month through receiving bond interest. Based on the above graph, I have 0 interest earned for July and Jan, so I intend to buy into July25 SSB (with an allocation of $35,000) to fill the gap.

I will also be buying June25 SSB, Aug25 SSB and Sept25 SSB to increase the monthly interest earned for June, Aug, Sept, Sec, Feb and March so that I am closer to my target of earning $500 every month throughout the year from bond interest.

My eventual SSB portfolio allocation and buying plan is as follows:

The monthly payout is likely to be lower because I am assuming 3% annual returns but the SSB interest rate has been dropping, in anticipation of the Federal interest rate cut.

The details of the 5 SSBs that I own currently are shown below:
